8月23日後楽園ホール大会で日本のリングに初登場して、この試合が日本でのデビュー戦でした。同年4月にメキシコでデビューしてましたが、日本のファンの皆様の前で試合するのは緊張してましたね。メキシコのお客様と全然反応は違うし、どんな試合をするのか見られてるってのをヒシヒシと感じましたから。新しい連携と「ストロングルチャ」を押し出した試合で、新しいものを見せられた自信は当時ありました。ですが、2人のオマケ感があったのは感じてました。自信満々に試合してるように見えてた？のかもしれせんが、いろいろ試行錯誤しながら悩んでました。この時から「ジャベ」を使用していたので、今のジャベスタイルはこの時の経験があるから完成したと思ってます。

This was my debut match in Japan, when I first appeared on the Japanese ring at the Korakuen Hall competition on August 23. We made our debut in Mexico in April of the same year, but we were nervous to play in front of Japanese fans. I didn't react to the Mexican customers at all, and I was kind of feeling that I was watching what kind of games I would play. At the time, I was confident that I could show new things in the game that pushed out the new collaboration and "Strong Lucha". However, I felt that they had a sense of bonus. It may have seemed like I was confident in the match, but I was worried about it through trial and error. I've been using "jabe" since this time, so I think that my current jabe style was completed because I had experience at this time.
